Today Google announced new mobile features for users of the BlackBerry Enterprise Server and BlackBerry smartphones. Businesses that use Google Apps will now have mobile read/write access to Docs, Spreadsheets, Presentations and other Apps tools that are located behind the corporate firewall. Some of the services include Gmail, Talk, Calendar, Docs, Sites, and Video. Google provides the service for free to all Google Apps Premium and Education customers, though the BES and other infrastructure must be provided by the companies themselves. Google said that the features involved, such as online document editing, are not available to BlackBerry BIS users. The feature is being tested in beta right now, and will see a full roll-out in July.
