Today Motorola introduced a new iDEN phone, the full-QWERTY equipped i465 Clutch. The Clutch is semi-ruggedized and offers PTT, threaded SMS and MMS messaging, as well as POP3 email support. It has Bluetooth 1.2, VGA camera with video capture, and uses microUSB for charging and data transfer. The Clutch will become available during the second quarter of 2009. Sprint has not said it will carry this device, but it is compatible with Sprint and Boost's iDEN network.

questions about the i465 clutch..

Does anyone know how good the camera is? how many MPs? And is there not a removeable memory stick and if that's the case, how many contacts w/numbers could we store in the internal memory? And, can we view e-mail attachments like a pdf attachments in my Yahoo e-mails? And, can we enjoy YouTube videos? I'd really appreciate hearing about someone's experience and answer to these questions. I'm ready to give it a try and will be closing down my Sprint acct along w/ my Treo 755p which has plenty of problems (like rebooting in the middle of calls).

Please send me a direct e-mail to: rosswiczer@yahoo.com

THANKS!!

Funny you should mention the texting delays. There's a relevant article on Yahoo! Tech today about them. Supposedly they're supposed to have "much improved" texting in place by next week.
