Verizon Wireless to Share LTE Details

Verizon Wireless in planning to reveal more details about its planned Long Term Evolution roll out at the Mobile World Congress show. Verizon is already conducting trials with Vodafone, and will unveil its technology partners during the trade show next week. Verizon reaffirmed its commitment to begin building out its LTE network, which will co-exist with its CDMA network, by the end of 2009. Verizon Wireless plans to use its 700Mhz spectrum winnings for the LTE network.

It will never happen

Verizon will never get the spectrum because the analog switch for tv will keep getting pushed further and further back.
if im not mistaken lte isnt going to be fully rolled out untill 2012 so it will happen there is plenty of time for them to make the switch and the dtv date wont get pushed back further. given the current economic status we cannot afford to push the da...
