I just installed my slingbox yesterday after playing with a buddies on his Bold I had to go purchase one. As a Iphone user I knew it wasn't available but was excited that it may be in the near future.

This announcement made my day. I don't believe that there could be a better device to watch to on then the i phone.

Thanks Sling Media for making a great product
yeah there is a better device

BB Storm has a better resolution than ANY cell phone out there, and it has the battery life to support Slingbox...a y phone will be dead in a hour.

so BB Storm FTW

Y Phone = fail
Well I started this post to be happy that apple and ATT finally offering this for the IPHONE. there are a lot of good phones out there that will support sling and orb but its exciting to hear that now the iphone will.

will it be a nightmare of ATT?

to get decent video quality, you need at least 150kbps, and it can go up to 600kbps (WM version) without limit, this can put extreme burden onto ATT 3G network
