A good question would be whether or not ATT's 8320 has Wi-Fi UMA like T-Mobile's. Even though ATT doesn't have a HotSpot calling plan or anything comparable, it's still a useful feature, especially since it lets you call home from overseas without incurring roaming.
If there's no UMA function for AT&T's network than it doesn't matter that the phone has wifi. UMA is a carrier dependent service. If you unlocked it, it might be possible to configure it to work on TMobile, but what's the point of that when you can ...

This isnt anything new

The 8320 was released for Tmobile. ATT got the 8310. Both of them are still Curves. The only difference is the 8320 has wifi and the 8310 has the GPS. My understanding is that these models were carrier exclusive. With ATT getting the 8320, (I'm assuming that the exclusivity rights are up), is tmobile going to get the 8310 with GPS? Does tmobile even have a program to support GPS? And, what other "exclusive" phones are there that could possibly be released to other carriers?

Which BB OS ships with ATT 8320?

I hope its at least version 4.5 so it handles HTML email?
T-Mobile 8320s are currently shipping with 4.5. So I would assume so.

I have 4.5 on my curve and it doesn't do HTML. Is there a setting I have to change? 🤨
If it doesn't have 4.5 software you can always update to it. Not that hard to do and only takes like 15 mins to do.
