Zi Rebuffs Nuance

Zi Corporation, maker of predictive text software, has declined a buy-out offer from competitor Nuance Communications. Nuance offered Zi 40 cents per share; Zi says the offer is too low. Nuance owns and licenses T9.

T9 should just be an option you can download..

I know what I want to type....I don't need my phone doing it for me with the wrong words...text messaging with T9 takes forever.
...once you get used to T9 and you add your own extra words (several containig only 4 letters) you type faster then if you didn't (especially if you only have the 9 button key pad. Besides all phones let you turn off the T9 so you dont need it anyway...

I can text faster with T9 than I can type on this computer. I love T9 and it works for me. What you have just said is only opinion, as well as what I have said.
Opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one but no one wants to hear from it.
