Cricket Expands to Cover More Markets

Today Leap Wireless announced that it has expanded the footprint of its Cricket mobile phone services by signing new roaming agreements with 14 other wireless companies. Some of the new markets include: Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco, Calif.; Jacksonville, Miami and Orlando, Fla.; Atlanta, Ga.; Indianapolis, Ind.; Detroit, Mich.; Columbus, Cleveland and Toledo, Ohio; Dallas, Texas; and Green Bay, Wis. Existing customers who have a $50 or $60 monthly plan can roam into these new areas for free. Customers of other plans can add the expanded roaming coverage to their plan for $5 per month.
