Verizon Starts Selling the LG VX5500

The LG VX5500 phone is now for sale on the Verizon Wireless Web site for $50 after rebates with new agreement. This entry-level clamshell features 1x data, a VGA camera, Bluetooth, speakerphone, messaging services, headset jack, and Verizon Navigator.

BLAH BLAH ANOTHER CHEap and ugly phone

zzzzz are you serious nothing verisucks release its nicess Even the free phones from att look better the any so call hot phone from veri-sucks
This is a basic phone, it's not meant to be stunning or "hot."

There is a significant group of customers (retired, people who dislike a lot of technology) that just want a good basic phone. This is who the 5500 is for. If you want a flashy phon...
However, it's this very "ugly phone" that gets better signal than your Motorola überphone, which does matter a lot!

Probably will sell well

These basic phones seem to do well at Verizon.
