Casio Creates Quarter-HD LCD

Casio has crafted a 2-inch LCD panel with one-quarter HD resolution of 546ppi. The display uses Casio's HAST (Hyper Amorphous Silicon TFT) technology. The display has a viewing angle of 160 degrees, and can display 16.77 million colors. Casio hopes the display will be used in mobile devices, such as cell phones.
