Today Skyfire has opened up the beta version of its browser to anyone who is interested in testing it the mobile browse. Skyfire is also offering a new version of the browser with some new features. The new version — 0.8 — fixes bugs, but also supports Ajax, Flash, Quicktime, and Windows Media for a more PC-like experience. It also includes better video quality; the ability to make Skyfire the default browser; faster launch and auto-reconnect; improved zooming; and the ability to download content. Current beta testers of the 0.6 version can migrate to the 0.8 version beginning today. Skyfire will have a 0.8 beta available for Symbian in the near future.

I assume your post is directed at the minority of people who have vga dispays. Since your post would be sort of a silly thing to tell someone with a touch/mogul/verizon 6900/att tilt/moto q/samsung blackjack/tmobile wing or shadow etc etc etc...

No "Better" Browser Out There! ('nough said)

😎
I enjoy it. I was listening to some TOOL and some Pharrel on YOUTUBE. Seems to work well enough. Only gripe I have is that any button I press on my Touch seems to interrupt the application.

I haven't found a web page I could not view or stream. Try this page on Safari, WinMo, Opera Mini/Moble,....what ever"www.watch-movies.net". I'm watching movies that are in the theater right now for free. 🙂

I have a T-Mobile Dash (HTC) with windows mobile 6.1 and I want to see if this is better than my internet explorer. Can I view youtube videos and shockwave multimedia?

It works....

I just downloaded it for my HTC Dash with windows mobile 6.1. It has a lot of cool features but it's a bit annoying trying to go back and it has a tendency to lag or do things i didn't tell it to do. all in all i give it a 8/10.
