Cox Communications confirmed that it is interested in offering cellular telephone services. Speaking to the press, Cox president Patrick Essar said that the company will "focus on providing simple calling plans, integrating all our services into one device with a consistent cross-platform interface; and making our content and applications mobile." Cox recently won some wireless spectrum in the recent 700MHz auction held by the FCC. Essar said the company plans to spend about $500 million developing wireless services. No time frame for providing the services was given, nor were any markets specified.

You have got to be kidding me!

Here in Phoenix, AZ, Cox is notorious for being a lousy provider of cable, phone, and internet. They treat their customers pretty badly, and they have an EXTREMELY arrogant attitude. I can't imagine them providing wireless service. They have the nickel-and-dime philosophy of VZW and the poor customer service of Sprint.

At least Sprint won't be at the bottom any more!
So one would say they are real "cox" about everything. 🤣
yep yep yep i couldn't agree with you any more...you hit it right on the nail bro
