Garmin Pushes Nuvifone Launch to 2009

In its quarterly filings, Garmin said that it is having trouble meeting network operator specifications for the Nuvifone, and has moved its release to the first half of 2009.

New filings related to Arm's planned initial public offering (IPO) reveal that Apple has signed a deal with the company that "extends beyond 2040". Apple licenses Arm chip technology which it then customizes to create the A-series processor chips that are the heart of iPhones and iPads.

Nivifone. What a joke! You'll be able to pick them up off of eBay for $20 within 65 days of launch. Attn: Nuvi Mgmt - stick with GPS. It is so arrogant to think that you can expand into the cellphone space, as well. 🤣 Your stock price isn't low enough?
