Advanced Wireless Service (AWS) question of 3G network being placed at metro

Well my friend has the new Samsnug MyShot from metroPCS.....and the service on there was different from my RAZR V3a...the reason of that is because her handset has the new metroPCS Spectrum. the internet is faster and its really fewer dropped calls on that handset...also there is two other phones at metro that consist of that new service.....the Samsnug Spex and the Motorola RAZR V3s (the upgraded version of the RAZR V3a) these phones and other handsets that will be coming in will consists of that new service...its a great thing happening with metro cause metro came a long way with their service...but one question concerns me when is metro ever gona come up to have a 3G network????
