The Palm Pixi swoops into stores just in time for the holidays. Was Palm able to give the Pixi a magic touch, or does it need another dose of pixie dust to really take off?
Did you love the Centro, Palm's other teensie-weensie messaging phone? If so, you're exactly the type of person Palm and Sprint hope will decide to pick up the Pixi. Why? Because it's petite, powerful, and a pretty good looking phone. This dainty gadget is Palm's leap into the mid-market.
Phone Scoop takes Palm's new Pixi webOS phone for a whirl. The Pixi earns high marks for its small footprint and usable operating system, but Palm had to make too many compromises on certain features.
Motorola has a new $500 phone and it's kind of a big deal. While Motorola has been successful with more affordable phones lately, not since 2017 have all of the big three US carriers offered a Motorola phone over $400.

The Orbic Magic 5G is now available with TracFone. This is the first Orbic phone for a US carrier other than Verizon.

Nokia's latest phone for the US is the G300, an affordable 5G phone for TracFone and Straight Talk. TracFone is making a big new push into 5G, having recently launched the Orbic Magic 5G.

Apple has released iMovie 3.0 for iPhones and iPads. The new version has two major new features: Magic Movie and Storyboards.
