MetroPCS Launches in Philadelphia

Today MetroPCS announced its launch in the Philadelphia metropolitan region. Philadelphia is MetroPCS' first market in the Northeast, and is its 11th major market. It will offer its no-contract services through six company owned stores and 132 authorized retailers.

Expanding

They really have grown since entering the market. I must say I am impressed.
if they get big enough, maybe other networks will be forced to lower their rates. unlimited everything for about $50/month or 4 phone unlimited talk for $100/month... damn
...
This is just the start once they buy out Cricket which will be soon they will have a very large area of service across the country and now with Metro Flash you dont have to get their crappy phones
...
I believe the limited market was a problem at first. Not so much anymore. They are in the Places that people visit. The only real place they are missing now is New York.

I'm sure there are lot of other cities that people want it in.

expanding.yes...but they use 1xRTT. they offer no high speed data services. they can grow all they want but today is all bout data...i wouldnt consider them anything special or a big gun until they roll out some evdo rev_a
