Today Verizon and Nokia announced the addition of the Nokia 6205 to Verizon's lineup. The phone, which will initially be available as a special limited "The Dark Knight" edition phone, is similar to the 6555 clamshell in that when open, it creates a smooth line from end to end. This special edition is mocked up to resemble a Batman boomerang. The 6205 carries a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash, supports microSD cards up to 4GB in size, and has dedicated music keys. It has EVDO data, and can access Verizon's V CAST services, and comes preloaded with Batman images, tones and screensavers. The special edition 6205 will be available only from Verizon's web site beginning June 15 for $70. The standard edition will become available both online and in retail outlets beginning in July.

Ultimately ... can you help me decide on which Verizon phone to choose?

Super-simple request ... I just need a basic phone ... a little texting, a pic here and there, and that's it.

I'm torn between the Nokia 6205 Batphone, the Motorola MOTO W755, or the Samsung SCH-U550. They all have comparable features ... I'm coming from a Motorola Razr V3M, which after 2 years of use is now a barely working piece of crap.

Do you think one brand is better than the other, or will they all work equally well?

Oh, and I don't give a crap about Batman. I would just want it in color other than the "girly" ice blue and silver.
Either Motorola W755 or a Nokia 6205. I would stay away from Samsung phones. Slow UI, cheap feel, small, etc.

Verizon wants all phones.

Looks like Verizon will have all variations of phones out there. Especially the most popular phones but what about the Iphone when will they get one?
AT&T and Apple have an agreement for the iPhone to only be on AT&T's network for 5 years.
I think VZ has a great line-up with many choices. They really do not need the iPhone when you look at how balanced their line-up is. Plus the Blackberry Thunder looks like it is going to be nice as well. I only wish Sprint gave us the selection of ...

Played with this phone a few weeks ago...

Phone was pretty solid. Obviously the specs didn't blow me away, nor should they, but it's way better than anything nokia has put out there. the phone actually has a bit of a curve to it when opened fully. pretty cool. tough to believe this is the Bat phone compared to the LG iron man had.
peace...yea, i thought this would be a lot better for a "bat phone". and i disagree, this isnt the best nokia phone. but definitely top 3

Nokia makes a BAT PHONE for Verizon......

They make the N95 for GSM network and the bat phone for CDMA.......I think they are making fun of the CDMA market...This cannot be serious..
yeah ain't it cool Joe? it's way better then the n95 🤣 🤣
