Sprint Expands QChat Footprint

Today Sprint announced that it will begin offering QChat-capable handsets in 40 additional markets. The 40 markets will be able to use the LG LX400, Samsung Z400, and the Sanyo Pro 200 and Pro 700 to access the Rev. A-dependent QChat push-to-talk service. Some of the markets include: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New York, Pittsburgh, San Francisco and Washington, D.C. The QChat phones will be available at retail and telesales channels starting June 15.

Some Bad News...

Looks like Sprint got us all hyped for half the pie... Qchat will not be immediately compatible with existing IDEN devices until "later this year"....
🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 Where did you here this i've used a sanyo pro which uses Qchat with my very own moto IC 902 power source use Iden and they work the same only thing different is the stlyle and choice of phow which is a lot better than the ol...

Well guy's, this is it!

This is what Sprint has been working on for years now. QCHAT. Let's see if this helps Sprint's problems, or adds to them.
Apparently it's working great in test markets.
