HAHAHHAAA....THIS STORY WAS FAKE!

Okay people. Rule #1 about April Fools jokes: release the joke ON April 1st.

This was a joke from AbleComm. They just issued a retraction. WHOOOOOPS!

🤣 Jokes on them, retards.

I was wondering about a plasma screen in a cell phone. Kinda stupid, if you ask me.

This is a terrible idea

Plasma displays work with gas. At high elevations, that gas expands, and the display goes bad in a matter of days. If you have someone from Florida vacationing at a high altitude like Vail or Yellowstone, their phone will become useless by no fault of their own with no chance of getting a warranty replacement.

I'll be severely disappointed if this technology takes off.

I was....

wondering when this would happen.
My guess is that the power consumption has been the main issue with it. Plasma displays have got to be power hungry compared to LCDs.
