Today AT&T and MediaFLO announced that they will be launching AT&T's Mobile TV with FLO service beginning in May. The service will be available on two handsets, the LG Vu, and the Samsung Access. Both phones will let users watch television and sports content directly on their handsets. The mobile TV service will have access to CBS Mobile, Comedy Central, ESPN Mobile TV, FOX Mobile, MTV, NBC 2GO, NBC News2Go and Nickelodeon, as well as two unannounced, exclusive channels. Pricing on the devices and on the service itself was not disclosed.

Commercial Free!!

theres no point in paying for this service if theres going to be commercials. If there is advertisement (outside of other shows) i'll just call customer care every month and complain till they credit my bill whatever the cost for this is!! 😛
Hmmm...why would one add the service knowing that the channels are live and of course have commercials? Such a customer who calls in for credits might get a credit one with Verizon but would probably end up fired with Sprint.

now we have competition!!!!

Verizon was the only carrier with this live TV thing. 8 channels to choose from, the same 8 channels AT&T is going to offer.

Now, let's see if Verizon can expand on their programming lineup, maybe a premium channel like an HBO. Competition benefits the consumer.

It's only a 3" TV but when you your boss won't allow you to log on to watch the NCAA tournament, Mobile TV was awesome.
Hey genius,

Sprint was the first service to have live tv, and we have over 20 channels.
