Today Sprint made a software update available for the HTC Mogul which will enable it to connect to Sprint's EV-DO Rev. A high-speed wireless broadband network. The Rev. A network is faster than the standard Rev. 0 network and will increase wireless download speeds to between 600kbps and 1,400kbps and upload speeds to between 350kbps and 500 kbps on the Mogul. The Rev. A network has been reserved for laptop cards, but this software update makes the Mogul the first smartphone able to use it for wireless Internet. The software update also gives the Mogul new GPS capabilities, allowing it to support Sprint Navigation, which provides turn-by-turn directions. The software update is available immediately from HTC.

Qwest

any ideas if this update will work on a qwest Mogul as they resell sprint service?
Unfortunately no. Maybe in the future but you can go to america.htc.com to see software updates for phones and Qwest's Mogul is not on the list.

Best phone ever.

I just wish they would have invested that extra couple of dollars to upgrade the ram in this phone. If this phone had the same ram as the Touch, it would be perfect.
I Agree! 😢

There isnt anything the Iphone does that my personal mobile doesnt except suck 😛

Well I am going back to play FF2 on my SNES emulator while my word docs print via bluetooth all from my phone oh not to mention me downloading some files from the int...

Bet the marketing dept won't advertise it.

Sprint is so stupid on not advertising. They need all the positive promotion as possible. I've heard the ATT & Vz commercials. Where's Sprint's. 🤨
ur right.. its a shame that this is not advertise but either way i cant wait to go home and download my update.. ! 🤤

touch

Is there going to be the rom update with rev a update for the touch?
I have been told there will be, but was given no time frame on it. Unfortunate, cause it will probably not be out before the Curve comes out next month, which will be my next phone 😁

It is not immediately on the site

I have looked everywhere on HTC and Sprints web site, i can not find it anywhere, anyone else have any luck? I work for a repair center, and i would like to get familar with it before people start coming in looking for it.
Check this link, look down to where it says UPDATE
