Alltel Expands LBS Nationwide

Today Alltel announced that its customers will be able take advantage of location-based services even when roaming outside of their home network. Alltel customers who have GPS-equipped phones can now access TeleNav GPS Navigator, Alltel Navigation, Where, and Axcess Family Finder in 45 new metro areas where it previously didn't work. Subscribers won't have to pay any additional monthly fees for the roaming access, but will have to pay standard roaming charges.
