T-Mobile Adds Functionality to HTC Shadow

Today T-Mobile offered a software update to the HTC Shadow Windows Mobile smartphone that adds some new features. The first is what T-Mobile is calling an audio postcard. It allows you to attach a vocal message to a picture message before sending it. It also updated the MyFaves menu, permitting easier text entry. Lastly, it added some multimedia features, including new ringtones and wallpapers.

"audio postcard" ? I could do this on my Sanyo 8100 in 2003. Oh boy. And nearly any other phone able to send an MMS. way to reinvent MMS/picture messaging.

T-Mobile has a lot of things in the works to drastically improve MMS.
