Verizon Wireless Buys SureWest Assets

Verizon Wireless agreed to purchased wireless assets from SureWest Communications in northern California for $69 million. Verizon will acquire SureWest's network assets and spectrum licenses in Sacramento, covering about 3.8 million people. The deal is expected to be finalized during the second quarter. Once it is, Verizon will take on SureWest's 50,000 customers.

sounds like verizon to me
