Blockbuster Talking to Handset Makers About Easing Mobile Movie Pains

At a recent media summit, Blockbuster CEO James Keyes said the movie rental chain is speaking to all the major handset manufacturers in hopes that they can make the process of downloading and watching movies on mobile phones easier. Blockbuster is also speaking with mobile software companies. Keye's did not elaborate on how the process could be improved. Blockbuster's goal is to expand its business as more capable handsets are developed with media playback features.

Basically

Does this mean that we get to watch movies on our phones(depending on your phone ofcourse) for a fee, like when we download ringtones and stuff? That would be awesome.
Sprint has had this on most of their phones for about a year now. I watch/ rented a movie on my 700P.

Ok all think beyond current cell phones that have only been able to do video for about 2-3 years.
With the increase in storage and wifi/wimax soon all phones will be capable of outputing the video as well as viewing.
