Today Nokia announced the latest version of its Internet tablet, the N810. This new hardware still uses only Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for connectivity, but offers a brighter touch screen, slide out QWERTY keyboard, and integrated GPS for location-based services. It will be loaded with a VoIP client to allow internet-based phone calls and also has a VGA camera and improved media playback capabilities. It is based on maemo Linux, and will have a fully customizable user interface. It will retail for $479 and will be available in mid-November.
