FCC Won't Change Open Spectrum Rules

FCC Chief Kevin Martin today announced the Commission has no intention of changing the open access rules attached to 22 MHz of spectrum in January's auction. "I don't have any plans to try to revise our open-platform rule the way Verizon wants us to," Martin told reporters. Verizon, which does not believe the open spectrum rules are legal, lost its appeal for an expedited lawsuit against the FCC last week.

I like verizon, but...

I like open access more.

I am very glad that the open access held up.

Good for everyone 😁
I don't like Verizon....or any of the large carriers for that matter.
