RIM Adds GPS to the Curve

RIM today announced a Blackberry 8310 for Vodafone Germany. The 8310 has the exact same form factor as the Curve available on AT&T but adds GPS to the feature set. Users will be able to get driving directions and find points of interest using pre-installed navigation software with the built-in GPS. The phone also features Bluetooth, a Micro SD slot, 2 Megapixel camera, multimedia player and a 3.5mm headset jack. The 8310 has some country-specific features, like a QWERTZ keyboard, however it is likely models will be announced with additional keyboard layouts, such as a QWERTY one, which could come to the US.
