T-Mobile Offers Free 30-Day Test Drive via eSIM
T-Mobile has released a new app that lets iPhone users with other US carriers test out T-Mobile's network for free using their existing phone before switching. While T-Mobile has offered a free 30-day test drive using a mobile hotspot — and that program remains available for Android users — the new app leverages the eSIM capability in newer iPhones. Once the eSIM is activated with T-Mobile, both the eSIM and existing physical SIM remain active, letting users try both networks at the same time, without switching carrier, phone, or phone number. The offer includes 30 GB of data and access to 5G. T-Mobile has published a video explaining the app. A T-Mobile spokesperson called the service a "pilot program".
