Verizon will offer Samsung's Galaxy A71 5G starting July 16th (pre-orders July 9th) for $650, making it Verizon's cheapest 5G phone to date. That's still $50 more than the A71 5G offered by other carriers, but Verizon's version adds supports for faster mmWave 5G.

More For Less

I do not understand, at all and there is no excuse for Verizon to charge $50-$100 more per device that ONLY CAN CONNECT TO mmW 5G which is literally nowhere the average user will be able to connect and use daily.
I would think that adding all the bands specifically B2 B4 B41 B66 AND B71 like TMo has in their devices would mean that the chipset would cost much more than mmW. Even with a different antenna. What benefit or value does VZW give to customers who pay more for something they cant access?
