T-Mobile Dash users will be able to download a free update to Windows Mobile 6 tomorrow. Users will be able to upgrade their smartphones themselves from their PC. In addition to including the improvements that Microsoft has rolled into the new operating system, T-Mobiles installation will include additional perks. The software package will include a new My Faves application, a new instant messaging application with support for AIM, Yahoo! and Windows Live, and a revised email setup application that further eases the process of getting mail from existing accounts on the smartphone. Cingular has announced it will offer Windows Mobile 6 updates for many of its device, but has not yet released any information on when they will be available.

I am now officially angered. I have a Sprint Moto Q, and I'm pretty sure they are not going to offer the update, especially not for free.
lol ahhaha mostlikely not.... and its a totaly different type of wm6 compared to the dash cuz the dash will run the standard wm6 and the Q will run the professional version....

T Mobile Leads the way again

T Mobile leads the way once more showing the world why they will one day be number one in the communication business.

Customer satisfaction
Being ahead on the tech curve
Being the most affordable in the industry
Being the most consistent in service
they have like 5 jd power awards.....
Too bad T-Mo's network still has more holes than swiss cheese and they still don't have 3G yet but I'll give them credit for this.

Good for them!

Yay for T-Mobile! Way to do something completely in the benefit of the customer. 😁

Of course, Microsoft/HTC may just want them to do it for cheap & easy testing of WM6, but who knows! 😛

Will Cingular actually do the same? I wonder. 😕
