Friend Tag You In an Instagram Post? Now You Can Share It
Instagram today introduced a new feature it calls @mention sharing that lets people share the posts in which they are tagged. "When someone mentions you in their story, you receive a notification in your Direct message thread with that person," explained Instagram. "Now, you’ll see an option to add that content to your own story." People can not only re-share the posts, they can turn them into stickers, scale and rotate them, as well as add text to dress them up. The original poster's username will be included in re-shared posts so others can access and explore that person's profile. This feature is only available to people with public accounts.
