Samsung Updates Icon X Headphones with New Music Features
Samsung is offering owners of its Icon X wireless earbuds a software update that improves the music listening experience. First, a new equalizer feature lets people chose from five audio presets (bass boost, soft, dynamic, clear, treble boost) to find a sound profile more suited to their preferences. Second, an Ambient Sound function makes it possible to control the level of background noise available when safety or circumstances require. Samsung also improved the Icon X's ability to store tracks for listening on the go. The revised Wireless Transfer feature streamlines how owners manage the catalog of songs synced to the headphone, permitting the addition of multiple tracks at once. The software update can be applied via the Samsung Gear app from Galaxy phones.
