Google has updated its core productivity apps for iOS 11 and the iPhone X. On the iOS 11 front, Google Docs, Google Sheets, and Google Slides specifically gain support for drag-and-drop behaviors of the iPad. Users can select content in one app and drag it to another. This is particularly helpful when moving complicated items such as tables or graphs between documents. On the iPhone X, the apps gain support for the extended screen aspect ratio. Google has updated many of its apps for the iPhone X, including Chrome, Google Search, Google Assistant, Google Drive, and Google Photos. The two notable exceptions are Gmail and Google Maps, which have yet to be optimized for the newest iPhone.
