Google's YouTube Kids app now offers an ad-free experience to young viewers thanks to new compatibility with YouTube Red. Google says parents who have a YouTube Red account can sign in via the settings menu, thereby allowing their kids to have an ad-free experience when watching videos. Google says the app now also includes support for offline videos and uninterrupted music thanks to background playback. The YouTube Kids app with YouTube Red benefits is available in the U.S., Australia, and New Zealand. The app is free to download from the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store. Google says more parental controls are on the way.
