Google today updated its Keep and Sheets applications for Android devices. The latest version of Keep improves thanks to a new sharing tool that, when tapped, includes an option to create a new note in Keep. When using Chrome, the note will automatically include the URL for the current web page. A similar change is being made available to Keep in the Chrome desktop browser. Google is also addressing a highly-requested feature with the addition of labels for categorizing notes. Google says this should make notes easier to manage and search. As for Sheets, the Android app now makes it possible to add or change titles to charts, as well as the titles of their X and Y axes. Sheets users can now change the color of a series in a chart, and specify where the chart's legend should be located. Keep and Sheets are free to download from the Google Play Store.
