Why not Verizon?

Is there a reasonable explination why Verizon never has Sony Ericsson phones?
I have wondered the same thing, anyone know who is gettin these? are they coming to the U.S.? if so prolly cingular 😁
Because SE makes mostly GSM phones...I dont recall any SE CDMA phones
Sony Ericsson does not have an American CDMA division. They tried back in the day but decided to stick to GSM. I doubt we will ever see any more CDMA sony ericsson phones

here is a link to a news article from 2003 about it

Well, to answer your question, Sony Ericsson has an exclusive contract with Cingular. They also have some smaller companies like Cincinatti bell, and other regional partners...but /cingular does they lions share of their business.
Sony Ericsson got out of the CDMA business a while ago:

I think that slider is the perfect phone

Seriously that phone looks great and what more could you ask it to do, besides work with Sprint. I hope more manufacturers follow Sony's lead and make some next generation phones but bring them to the US. Phones here havent changed much in too long.
I wouldn't go that far, but it would be nice to see this come out in the US in the near future. It's stylish, has very nice walkman features, and I don't think any American providers have any phones with separate VGA video cameras yet.
