OnePlus X No Longer Requires An Invite to Purchase

OnePlus today made the OnePlus X available on its web site, no invitation required. OnePlus traditionally uses an invite system to manage supply and demand when it first launches handsets. It appears that OnePlus has reached balance with the OnePlus X handset so it no longer needs to mange supply through the invitation process. OnePlus has also put some accessories on sale for 20% off, but said it has to up the price of its Power Bank from $14.99 to $19.00 due to increases in manufacturing costs.

Samsung today announced its lineup of flagship phones for 2022: the Galaxy S22 series. The top-end S22 Ultra sees the biggest changes as it essentially absorbs Samsung's Note series with an integrated S Pen stylus and a more Note-like shape and design, instead of the Contour Cut design of the other models.
