Google Jazzes Up Weather Search Results

Checking the weather forecast via Google Search just received a big upgrade. On Android devices, searches in the Google app for "weather" will include far more information than before in a more appealing design. For example, the app will change background colors in response to sky conditions, time of day, and season. The refreshed weather report will show precipitation potential, severe weather alerts, air quality/UV index, sunrise/sunset times, and a look ahead at the 10-day forecast. Further, users will be able to save favorite locations, which will be available in a drop-down tool. The Google Search app for Android is free to download from the Google Play Store.
