Google's 'About Me' Page Acts As Privacy Dashboard

Google has made available a new tool online for controlling what personal, work, and other data is shared publicly. Users can view, edit, and assign visibility to their phone numbers, email addresses, social network profiles, as well as basic personal identifiers such as age, gender, and locations. Significantly, the aboutme page includes a privacy checker that walks people through all privacy settings and highlights what's visible to everyone. Further, it has a section dedicated managing photos and albums. The dashboard is accessible from mobile and desktop browsers, and gives Google account holders more granular control over what is public versus what is private.
