Nokia today introduced several new entry-level phones targeted at first-time and prepaid users around the world. Among the new phones were two for North America:
- 2610: Dual-band GSM phone with a rubberized finish to combat dust and improve grip. Features a 65,000-color display, MP3 and recordable voice ringtones, speakerphone, MMS, voice memo, and large text display.
- 1112: A slight variant of the previously-announced 1110 that trades the reversed amber-on-black monochrome LCD for a normal black-on-white LCD.
