Sprint Considering More Music Options Including Subscriptions

A Sprint executive today said the carrier is looking at a number of options to expand its music services. Sprint expects to link the Sirius satellite channels users can already subscribe to to the music store. If a user hears a song he likes while listening to a satellite channel, he will be able to click a button to buy that song and have it downloaded to his handset and desktop account. Sprint is also hoping to add a subscription service to its music store. Like Napster or Yahoo!, this would allow subscribers access to unlimited music for as long as they pay a monthly fee. Sprint is still working out details such as when this service could launch or how much it will cost.

Mobile audio broadcast overhyped

Perhaps software varies from handset to handset, but I cannot listen to my MM7400 for more than 5 minutes before it vibrates wildly requesting user interaction. Ignore it, and the streaming stops.

Personally, I think Sprint sucks the big ones. I have never like the customer service, nor the service of Sprint. I did always like the phones and content, just not the crap that came with it.

It must suck to be under contract with a company that is sucking hind tit in the Cellular world!

Let's just face it, Sprint sucks, just like those phone crippling bastards Verizon.

Verizon only leads the pack of suckage. Yes, yes...tell me again how Verizon owns and operates the largest wireless network in the United States...oh, you can't....
