Updated: Updated to remove "exclusive to AT&T" language after we were unable to confirm that (disputed) fact.

Microsoft and AT&T have confirmed that the Lumia 950 will be offered by AT&T. The phone will also be available unlocked directly from Microsoft.

bad move

I don't understand why a company who is struggling to get market share with their mobile OS would limit the sale of a FLAGSHIP phone to a single carrier even for a short period of time. Initial release is vital to a phone's success. I will be very disappointed if this turns out to be true.
