Sep 24, 2015, 12:15 PM by Eric M. Zeman
Apple today made iOS 9.1 public beta 2 available to those testing the pre-release version of iOS. Unlike the developer version released Wednesday, this one is for consumers who signed up for the public beta program. iOS 9.1 adds a few features to Apple's platform, including support for more emoji, and the option to use the "Hey, Siri" setting when the iPhone is not plugged in. iOS 9.1 beta 2 is free to download over the air.
