A new MVNO called CoolPrepaid launched today using Cingular's network. For subscribers who want a new or upgraded phone, the company is offering the RAZR V3. CoolPrepaid will also just sell new subscribers a SIM if they already have an unlocked GSM phone. Service will cost 30 cents a day and 10 cents per minute for calls in the US. Unlike other MVNOs differentiating themselves with content, CoolPrepaid is setting themselves apart with low-cost international calling. Subscribers will be able to call many countries for an additional 10 cents (20 cents total) per minute.

Gunna kill goPhone!
This will kill goPhone sales unless cingular launches some better plans. Currently they are $1 a day and 10cents a minute or 25cents a minute all the time. Dont know how much access cingular is allowing coolprepaid tho as far as network coverage. that could be one deciding factor.......
The funny thing is, most people who are looking at a prepaid phone don't really seem to be interested in international calling....
