Samsung unveiled 5 GSM handsets at CeBit this week. Three are unlikely to make it Stateside, but there is a chance two models could show up on American carriers in some form. The models are currently tri-band 900/1800/1900 GSM/GPRS (EDGE). Samsung has in the past modified phones with similar specs for release here.

what does it mean by...

"The front of the phone features transductive keys for navigation and media playback hidden beneath the surface (like on the chocolate phone or Sony Ericsson W950). Only the keys that control the phone's current mode are lit up and activated."
Surrounding the d-pad is a flat, solid plastic touch-sensitive surface. It includes several "keys" that are not physical keys, but icons you can touch to activate.
