Facebook Says Rooms Should Now Be Easier to Find

Facebook today said it has updated the Rooms app for iOS devices to version 1.2. The update claims to make it easier for users to discover new Rooms to join. An 'explore' button lets users scan through Rooms and enter those that appeal them. Rooms are confined spaces that are specific to certain subjects or topics. Facebook hasn't said if or when it will expand Rooms to other platforms.

Samsung today announced its lineup of flagship phones for 2022: the Galaxy S22 series. The top-end S22 Ultra sees the biggest changes as it essentially absorbs Samsung's Note series with an integrated S Pen stylus and a more Note-like shape and design, instead of the Contour Cut design of the other models.

Google has redesigned its Podcasts app, and made a version available in Apple's App Store for iPhone users. Google Podcasts now stays fully synced between all platforms, including Android, web, and iOS, so you can pause a podcast on your phone and automatically pick up where you left off on the web.

Samsung has officially launched SmartThings Find, a device-tracking solution roughly similar to Tile, as well as Apple and Google's respective Find My services. "SmartThings Find uses Bluetooth Low Energy and ultra-wideband (UWB) technologies to help people find select Galaxy smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and earbuds."
