AT&T today launched a limited promotion that doubles the amount of monthly data available to certain plans for no extra charge. Customers who subscribe to one of AT&T's Mobile Share Value plans with 15, 20, 30, 40, or 50GB of data can upgrade their data to 30, 40, 60, 80, or 100GB, respectively, for free. The upgrade works with plans that include between two and 10 lines and already subscribe to a minimum of 15GB ($160 per month). The promotion, which is available to new and existing customers, runs between today and October 31. AT&T said the promotional data allotments will not expire, and customers can keep them as long as they subscribe to a Mobile Share Value plan.

Well, looks like they are getting more money from me

I already have the 10GB plan myself. $30 more a month (less since I have a discount) and they will give me 20GB more? That works for me. I was already considering moving to the 15GB plan.
You would be correct. It is in our system as PROMO MS VALUE 2.0.

Article is a little misleading...

"The upgrade works with plans that include between two and 10 lines.."

I have one smartphone line with at&t on the mobile share value 15GB plan. I just got off the phone with at&t and they had no problem changing me to the promotional 30GB plan with the one line, only.
You would be correct. As an AT&T rep, there is no requirement of having a minimum of two lines. Some reps may try and tell you otherwise, but our system lets you do it with single lines no problem.

Not Terrible...

If you have 4 or more lines and everyone uses about the same amount of data.
Its not terrible for those who are already on AT&T. For the budget conscious its still prepaid or Sprint/Tmobile

Let's see if Verizon can match that! LOL.

Let's see if Verizon can match that! I don't think they can but lets see. They already left out some things in matching AT&T Mobile share value plans like when you add a customer owned dumb phone to the plan they have no discount. They wanted to charge me more for my dumb phone than my smart phone so I am now stuck with 2 phone carriers your loss Verizon.
