how many of these coming to cingular?

any of these coming to cingular? they look might expensive! i see the r doing the same thing as the samsung d307 it looks like. probably won't see any these phone (cause either they will b incompatible with cingular software or they won't b out until 2007)
I haven't seen the specs on the N71, but the N92 is out because of no 850.

I'd bet my left nut they'll get the N81 Q3 of next year, though.
...
The N80 is quad-band and has WCDMA 1900, so it would be compatible with Cingular, including most (but not all) of their new 3G network. A Nokia exec also told me they will launch it in the US in Q1, and they expect it to be widely distributed in the U...

Help ME PLZ

I have decided to get a cell phone and have chosen to get Cingular.
I want to know what phones are good.
These are the things i am interested in:
1.2+ megapixel camera
2.mp3 player that can hold alot of songs
3.Small light weight
4.Good reception (In NewYork, NewYork)

Please help me out
Remember i know practically nothing about phone as of now but i hope to learn 😁

Also i was wondering if i buy a memory card that fits in the phone will i be able to put more music on the phone. This is important bcuz i have 12+ Gigs of music on my comp

Thank You for helping me 🙂
You would be better off asking in the Cingular Forum or the General Forum
Based on your specs, I would suggest the Motorolla E1 ROKR. The only thing it lacks is that it does not have the megapixels you are after, but it is expandable and has one heck of a music player in it.

Please help a rookie out!

(W)CDMA...doesn't that mean it has to do with Verizon or Sprint?

And okay, is also says GSM...so that's Cingular. But how are these phones for both?

And what's a quad band and why is it special? Or "the end of the world"!!! Hahah 🤣 ..I seriously feel so lost sometimes on this site, I WILL learn though! 😁
As far as the quad-band stuff, it gives you the ability to roam on the most GSM networks worldwide. Around the world, there are 4 frequency allocations for GSM (850/900/1800/1900 MHz), and a quad-band device would potentially give you the ability to a...

AHHH....THAT'S what EV-DO is
...huh! Interesting. Okay, next time I'm hitting the glossary, but seriously folks--I couldn't have gotten that information from just looking up WCDMA...Thanks!

round of beers on me!!
WCDMA is totally different from CDMA. The "W" makes all the difference! WCDMA is the new 3G standard for GSM networks. It can replace GSM, but for now it's just being added to GSM networks.

The world is definitely coming to an end. 🙂
It's not the first. The E61 and 6270 are also quad-band. 🙂

I'm genuinely excited to see these phones. It's been a while since I've logged on and thought "Holy crap, now I REALLY want that phone (or phones!)..."

Way to go Nokia - now let's see how long it takes for you to crank them out! 😁
