Straight Talk Wireless, available only in Walmart stores, today increased the amount of high-speed data available to its $45 Unlimited Nationwide Talk, Text and Data plan from 2.5GB to 3GB with no change to the monthly cost. Straight Talk throttles data speeds down to 2G once customers exceed 3GB in a single billing period. Straight Talk also boosted allowances in the $30 plan, which now includes unlimited text, 1500 voice minutes, and 100MB of data. The changed plans are available beginning today.

T-Mobile today introduced a new premium service plan called "Magenta Max", that offers truly unlimited "premium" (full-speed 5G or 4G) data. Before today, T-Mobile's top-end "Magenta Plus" plan offered up to 50 GB of full-speed data, after which speeds could be restricted.
