C Spire Wireless today rolled out new shared plans that bring its offering in line with those of its competitors. The new plan provides four lines with unlimited voice, text, and 10GB of shared data for $160 a month. C Spire also dropped prices for plans with lower data allotments. For example, customers can enjoy 1GB of data (with unlimited voice/text) for $25 per month, 2GB for $40 per month, or 3GB for $60 per month. All the new plans go into effect today. C Spire will throttle data speeds for customers of these plans who surpass their monthly allotment. C Spire still offers is $65 Everything Unlimited plan, which provides truly unlimited, full-speed data with no throttling and no overages. Last, C Spire Wireless said it is now taking preorders for the Samsung Galaxy S5.
